We have lots and lots of people come thru our door.

Tonight my host pointed out something I knew but needed reminding of.

Every day people come to the host stand on their way out.

And I engage them.

My favorite question: are you from here or away?

They answer.

But many times they say:

We live in Western Mass, we have a house on The Cape, but we visit twice a year.

If they own a house on The Cape they always manage to work it into the conversation.

We are from New Hampshire, we have a house on The Cape but we visit here when we can.

She’s hears it 100 times a day at her day job.

And she’s right. They always say it.
